Very happy with this pan!
Searched high and low for just the right non-stick square pan to replace my Cooks Essentials piece from QVC - was a great pan, used it for many years and simply wore it out. I quickly discovered that it's rather difficult to find a square pan that doesn't have the raised grill lines (grill pan), isn't super shallow (standard griddle), and doesn't slope inward at the bottom (making it too small / incompatible with my bacon press). I eventually came across this 11" one from Calphalon - it's exactly what I was looking for! I've used it for burgers, grilled sandwiches, french toast, eggs, bacon... all kinds of things that a square pan is handy for... and it has performed perfectly for me every time. I typically use nylon or wooden utensils, but today I used metal tongs while cooking bacon -- no problem. That said, I'm very careful, so I can't say if it would scratch under normal use or not. So far, it has held it's shape and I have zero complaints. This is my first Calphalon piece...
Love my Calphalon griddle!
Received this item about a month ago. We were thinking of purchasing an Easy System set, and thought this was a great way to try the cookware before investing in the set. Plus, my Pampered Chef Generation II griddle was ready to be retired (after a good eleven years of use!). This item heats evenly, fits four grilled sandwiches easily, and is a breeze to cleanup! The handle does get warm/hot after prolonged use on a high setting (gas cooktop), so you might need a pot holder when using. Love the lifetime warranty on this product! Would definitely buy again and recommend to others!
This Pan is Great!
I love this pan. The sides is great for catching grease, easy to clean and it cooks great. Onr of the best pans I have ever had.
