Wow! Copper Fusion
This cookware works marvelously; it heats up quickly and evenly, is dishwasher safe, and look great in the kitchen. Made in Germany, this Chantal cookware has a copper/steel core encased in stick resistant enamel.
The Chantal cookware comes with glass lids (oven safe to 375 degrees) which fit well and allow for easy monitoring of cooking. They sport stay-cool handles but the shape of the handle coupled by the heft of the cookware lends itself to being a bit hard on the wrist when carrying or pouring.
As an avid cook, I appreciate having a well-made product that stands-up to constant use without any decrease in effectiveness or appearance.
The enamel can get discolored but it is easily cleaned with a ceramic cleaner. I have also noticed that some of the screws in the handle can come loose after heavy use, but a twist of the screwdriver provides a quick and effective fix.
NOT non-stick
I bought this set in February. It is impossible to cook an easy over egg at any heat or oil setting without breaking. I like the weight and most other items cook evenly, but it is NOT non-stick. I tried to get my money back to no avail--replacement only per Chantal. Better options are available at a lower price.

The new cookware is awesome! It Cooks very evenly and cleans easily also. I am careful to follow the care instructions such as letting it cool before putting water in it to clean so there is not a big temperature change that could crack it. Takes a little more thought than my old cookware, but I love it and want more and would definitely recommend it.
