Practically perfect in every way!
I purchased this and the 3.4-quart oval dish from Marinex almost 2 years ago. Our Corningware from our wedding had started cracking after only 2 years of infrequent use and the last dish finally cracked all the way through after 6 years. It was disappointing, to say the least, but it gave me an excuse to try something safer and more durable than Corningware. Unfortunately, there weren't any reviews on these baking dishes, so I simply went on the fact that they're made out of glass that isn't coated with anything and that is typically stronger than stoneware. I'm THRILLED I did. It still looks like new (even the plastic cover) cooks things evenly, doesn't stain, and is incredibly convenient (and not messy) for transporting to parties and picnices. These are durable beyond belief: I've dropped them on the floor (from 1 foot) and onto our granite countertops and they don't have a chip or crack in them. If you need an awesome baking dish (or a few), I HIGHLY recommend these Marinex...
