Increases efficiency
Unless u have cast iron cookware, u will need to dedicate an old pot/pan (or garage sale pot/pan) for use w/any rocket stove. In other words, a pot u don't mind fouling w/the soot from a wood fire. And that will work fine.
To keep heat directed toward the pot, stovetec includes an adjustable collar (w/ur stovetec stove) that goes around ur pot. That collar is to keep "A GREATER PERCENTAGE" of the heat (under ur pot) from blowing away in the wind, and directs the heat around the sides of ur pot. And the collar will work fine with ur own pot.
